Overview

Dockable ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Dockable web application and the Dockable Chrome Extension (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Chrome Extension Data Collection

The Dockable Chrome Extension collects and uses the following data:

• Authentication information: Your Dockable workspace API key is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This key is used solely to authenticate uploads to your Dockable account and is never shared with third parties.
• Website content: When you initiate a screenshot or screen recording, the extension captures the visual content of your active browser tab. This content is transmitted directly to your Dockable workspace and is not stored by us outside of your account.

The extension does not collect personally identifiable information, health data, financial data, location data, web browsing history, or personal communications.

Web Application Data

When you use the Dockable web application, we collect:

• Account information (email address) used for authentication via NextAuth
• Videos, screenshots, and recordings you upload to your workspace
• Transcriptions and AI-generated summaries of your uploaded content

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Dockable Service
• To process and transcribe your uploaded videos
• To enable semantic search across your workspace content
• To authenticate you and secure your account

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties outside of the approved use cases described in this policy. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the Service, and we do not use your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Third-Party Services

Dockable uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Cloudflare R2 — file storage
• OpenAI / Groq — transcription and AI processing
• Trigger.dev — background job processing

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

Data Retention

Your uploaded content and account data are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your content at any time from your workspace dashboard. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below.
